Dr. Surya Nayana holds an M.A. and a Ph.D. in Linguistics from Dravidian University. His doctoral research focused on the Koya language, with special emphasis on its linguistic structure, vocabulary, grammar, and its relationship with the culture of the Koya tribal community. He has a keen interest in tribal languages, indigenous cultures, language documentation, and the preservation of endangered languages. His work reflects a strong commitment to promoting and preserving the linguistic heritage of tribal communities through research and public engagement.
