Glimpse of the workshop on Collection of Linguistic Data in the Languages of Car Nicobar and Nancowry/Kamorta

The Scheme for Protection and Preservation of Endangered Languages (SPPEL), Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL), Mysuru, has successfully concluded a 15-day workshop dedicated to the documentation of Car Nicobarese and Nancowry languages. This initiative brought together language experts from the Nicobar Islands to CIIL, Mysuru, to provide invaluable native linguistic data. The academic staff of SPPEL worked diligently throughout the 15 days to collect, analyze, and preserve this vital linguistic data.
