Aimol

Aimol is one of the recognized tribe of Manipur (29th October 1956 vide notification no. 2477, under Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India).

Beda

Bedas are largely found in some villages of Leh (more specifically, in villages like Chuchot Yokam, Fiang, Nubra Valley and few others) and parts of Himachal Pradesh.

Dhimal is a Tibeto-Burman language. It is spoken in India and Nepal. In India it is mainly spoken in Darjeeling district of West Bengal.

Dirang Monpa

The Dirang Monpas are one of the major divisions of the greater Monpa tribe. It belongs to Tibeto-Burman language family.

Eravallan

Eravalla is spoken by one of the scheduled, forest tribes of Tamil Nadu who live in the Anamalai hills.

Gahri

Gahri is a Tibeto-Burman (West Himalayan, Tibeto-Kinnauri, Tibeto-Burman) language spoken in Keylong block of Lahaul and Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh.

Gojapuri

Gojapuri is spoken in the village Khalu which is around 40km from the main city of Godda.

Gutob Gadaba

Gutob Gadaba is a Munda language, spoken in Koraput district of Odisha and Visakhapatnam of Andhra Pradesh.

Hakkipikki

Hakkipikki is one of the major tribal communities in Karnataka.

Hassadi

Hassadi language is spoken in the mountainous region of Ramban village in District Doda of J&K state.

Jad

Many tribal communities live in the hill state of Uttarakhand, India. Jad is one of them.

Jenukuruba

The Jenukuruba tribal inhabits the forest area that forms a conclave of the 3 states of Karnataka, Tamilnadu and Kerala.

Khamba

Khamba is one of the many tribes that live in Arunachal Pradesh.

Khash

Khash language is spoken in Gunti Unnyan village located in the District Doda of Jammu and Kashmir State of India.

Luro

Luro language is spoken in Teressa Island, Nicobar, Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Malasar

The Malasar tribal community lives in Kerala and Tamil Nadu.

Malayan

Malayan is one of the tribal communities in Kerala. They are speaking the Malayan language which is spoken by less than 10,000 speakers.

Manda

Manda language belongs to the South central sub group of the Dravidian family.

Meshabi

Meshabi, also known as Khushali is spoken in Malhot village of district Doda in Jammu and Kashmir.

Paddari

In general, Paddari language is influenced by Urdu, Hindi, Pahari, Kashmiri, Bhadarwahi, Lahauli and Ladakhi etc.

Purum

It is unfortunate to mention that the number of Purum speaker is very less who can communicate fully in Purum language.

Ranglong

Ranglong is a Kuki-Chin language. It is one of the sub tribes of Halam community of Tripura.

Sanenyo

Sanenyo language is spoken in Chowra and Teressa Island, Nicobar, Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Simong

Simong is a Tibeto-Burman language spoken in the Upper Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh. It is classified as a sub-dialect of the Adi language.

Siram

Siram language is spoken in the village located at a distance of 80 kms from the main town Ramban in the district Ramban of Jammu and Kashmir state.

Soliga

Soliga is a Dravidian language. It is spoken mainly in Karnataka and Tamilnadu.

Tai Phake or Phakial

The Tai Phake is a tonal and monosyllabic language and spoken by around 2000 speakers. Tai Phake or Phakial language is considered to be one of the endangered languages in India.

Thachanadan Moopan

Thachanadan Moopan is a Scheduled Tribe in Wayanad district of Kerala State.

Tharua

Tharua or Tharu is a language spoken by Tharu community. The community dwells in the Indian states of Uttar Pradesh and Orissa.

Toda

The Toda language is a member of the Dravidian family. The Toda people are a small pastoral tribal community who lives on the isolated Nilgiri plateau.
