Two-Day National Symposium on Language, Culture & Knowledge Systems
On 20 November 2025, the Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL), Mysuru, inaugurated a two-day National Symposium on “Language, Culture and Knowledge Systems” as part of the observance of Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas, celebrated annually on 15 November to honour the birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda. Across six academic sessions, the symposium features 19 research paper presentations by scholars from universities, research institutions, and NGOs across the country. A vibrant inaugural ceremony set the tone for the event, which featured enriching discussions and insightful deliberations on various dimensions of language, culture, and knowledge systems.
