Dr. S. Sulochana Singha is a linguist specialising in language documentation, phonology, orthography development, and endangered language preservation. Her research interests include descriptive and field linguistics, with experience documenting Indo-Aryan, Austroasiatic, and Tibeto-Burman languages. Her work focuses on corpus development, linguistic analysis, and the documentation and preservation of under-documented and endangered languages of India.
