Staff Profile

Ms. Delna Philip is a postgraduate in Linguistics, with a CGPA of 8.63 (2 rank) in 2025 batch, interested in how languages are structured and used in different social contexts. Her research interests include sociolinguistics, syntax, clinical linguistics, and the interaction of the human mind between languages, as well as language and technology, documentation, and revitalisation of lesser- studied and endangered languages. She presented a paper titled "Language and Gender: The Distinct Communication Styles of Men and Women in Malayalam Films" at an International conference held by Kerala University Research Students' Union 2023-24.
